Jill Hennessy
The native from Edmonton, Alberta has a multi-generational ancestry that includes Irish, Italian, Swedish, French and Ukranian. Jacqueline is her twin sister, and is an actor. Jill was proficient in a variety of languages when she was growing up. They included Italian, French, and Spanish. As she was 12 years old young, she began to become interested in being an actor. Her career as an actor began in Toronto in the role of an actor in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her sister. After a course in improv taught by Deb Kimmet in Second City, she began her acting career in Toronto. They relocated back to New York two years later and signed a contract to portray Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit long-running series Law & Order. In addition, she appeared in movies including RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) over the course of her three-year stint. Her work was featured in a couple of uninteresting films in the next several years before securing an acting role in 1999's miniseries uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York followed with Exit Wounds. The actress was offered a leading role in NBC's crime series Crossing Jordan. And in 2007 for her work to the series she was honored with a Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding Female Actor in a Drama Series". She married another actor, Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. The couple has two children. She was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in 2007.
