Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden is the third out of five siblings who were born at La Jolla on 14 August 1959. The mother of her child, Beverly (Bushfield) had been a domestic worker, and her father Thad Harold Harden, was an active soldier. Families moved oftenHarden first got interested with theatre when the family was living in Greece as she had attended plays in Athens. Harden went on to study at American universities in Europe and then came back to the US in 1983, to complete her education at University of Texas. She graduated with an MFA from NYU and started acting. Her previous roles included an upcoming film, The Imagemaker, but her first major role was in Miller's Crossing, the Coen Brothers funny, humorous tribute to the gangster genre. Harden was praised for her seductive performance as Verna. Harden was subsequently busy as a supporting character, such as the role of Ava Gardner in Sinatra (1992), a television biopic on Frank Sinatra. Marcia Marcia Marcia
