Awkwafina

Awkwafina, an American actor and singer, began with a series of rap songs which dealt with the subject of sexual and race. Her fame grew into Hollywood after she released several rap songs. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants and Koreans. In addition to classical and jazz, Nora Lum started to study hip-hop during her teens. When she was in college, she focused on her studies. She majored both in women's study as well as journalism. While she was for a brief amount of time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were also offered. After graduation, her focus shift to music. The My Vag song, My Vag which was her response to Mickey Avalons My Dick, became a popular viral sensation via the Internet and was later featured on her debut LP Yellow Ranger. It also included viral hits including body positive Queef and a wink-y home tour NYC Bitche$1. The final track was connected directly to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in 2015. After having a great career as a performer and songwriter, she decided to take on the role of actor. Apart from the early television shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies like Neighbors2Storks, and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered several notable performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out, in Fina We Trust in June of that year.
